Setup University of Calgary VPN

The University of Calgary uses FortiNet VPN.

Download the software from https://iac01.ucalgary.ca/SDSWeb/
Configuration[edit | edit source]
The following instructions will set up the VPN for use with the General VPN and Admin VPN. The instructions should work on Windows, MacOS, and Linux.
- Open FortiClient. When it is first started without any VPN connections, you should see a 'Configure VPN' link/button. Click on it.
- Next to 'VPN', click on 'XML'
- Right click on https://paste.steamr.com/view/raw/3dc19c39 and save it (name it
vpn.conf) - Click on 'Import XML Configuration' and select the XML file from the previous step
- Click on 'Import' without specifying a password.
