I am going to start tracking packages from China to Canada here.

Some Observations

It takes about 5-6 days to ship from Vancouver to Calgary (via Edmonton) or 3 days if direct. It takes Canada Post and UPS about 6-7 days (including weekends) to deliver from Halifax to Calgary.

One item from Ebay shipped with 'Standard International Shipping' ($1.2USD) turned out to be SpeedPak. Another item from Ebay shipped with 'Economy Shipping from China/Hong Kong/Taiwan to worldwide' ($0.90USD) was also shipped with SpeedPak.

The AliExpress Saver Shipping method (listed as AliExpress - 无忧物流-标准/無憂物流標準, or AliExpress - Worry Free Standard) is operated by Cainao and appears to use any number of shipping methods including: 4PX+UBI Smart Parcel, EMS, China Post. All orders shipped with this method arrived within 2 months. This method is an insured way for sellers to ship items since any disputes are handled by this platform. The 'worry free' aspect is mostly for the seller since once the item is sent, they do not need to worry about its delivery status. Items using this method are also tracked to ensure that the item has been delivered.

SunYou appears to be via China Post. The tracking number China Post assigns the package is untracked.

Untracked packages will not have status updates after leaving China. These include the cheap Cainao Super Economy, Cainao Global, Yawen, SunYou.

May 31, 2020	Hangzhou	AliExpress, China Post AliExpress, ePacket (China Post)	July 7, 2020 July 24, 2020	37 54	AliExpress shipping buggered up this order completely. AliExpress refunded the order, hopefully to no loss to the seller since it wasn't the seller's fault. The seller on AliExpress tried to ship the item but it was returned back to him because he claimed China customs rejected it. He then shipped it again and gave me a tracking number 4006318634940961 and is tracked by a China Post number LZ131651066CN. LZ131651066CN was sent on May 31, given to an airline on June 4, arrived in Richmond BC on June 24, Canadian customs released it on June 24, and Canada Post processed it on June 29 and delivered it 8 days later on July 7. (8 days including the weekend and Canada Day). However, this package wasn't actually what the seller intended to send me. Instead, it was actually LP00180005419687 which the same seller intended for someone in Italy. Two and a half weeks later, another package arrives via ePacket with the same tracking number LZ131651066CN. This package was the actual package with the original 4006318634940961 number under the ePacket label. Looking at the tracking history again, it appears that the events for the two parcels are interleaved since there exists duplicate key events such as departure and arrival. I believe that this package was also sent on May 31, given to an airline on June 14, arrived at Burnaby BC on July 22, and delivered on July 24. (2 weekdays)

It arrived in Canada probably the next day (July 1). Customs cleared it on July 2. Canada Post most likely processed the package the next day despite the tracking saying it processed it on the 6th since it was delivered the next day on July 7.

Customs took 3 days. Canada post took 7 days before processing the package on July 3. It was delivered to the mailbox on July 7.

Package was sent on April 30 and eventually went into "International item has left originating country and is en route to Canada" on May 5. It arrived in Canada at Mississauga on June 27. Customs released it after one day. Canada Post accepted it on June 28 and it arrived in Calgary on July 2. It was delivered it to the mailbox on July 3.

Both shipped free with Economy SpeedPAK from China/Hong Kong/Taiwan Packages left Shenzhen for Dongguan on Jun 19. It left China on June 20 and arrived in Canada on June 21 Customs released it on Jun 25 and processed by Canada Post the same day. Canada Post took 7 days to deliver to the mailbox.
May 25, 2020	Shantau	AliExpress, via UBI Smart Parcel	June 12, 2020	17 days	4PX picked up the package (1 day) and delivered to UBI Smart Parcel (1 day). UBI notified Canada Post. It arrived at an air port 2 days later, given to an airline the next day. It then sat at the air port for 2 days before being flown and arriving at Vancouver the next day. The item sat at the air port for 1 day before being collected. Customs released it after 2 days. Canada Post too the package the next business day. Arrived at Burnaby the next day. It took 3 days to arrive directly to Calgary and into the mailbox.

UBI notified Canada Post of the package, cleared customs and given to an airline in one day. Item sat for two days until it was flown to Vancouver. It sat for another 3 days at YVR airport before being collected. Customs released it after another 7 days. Canada Post took 4 days to send it to Edmonton and another day to arrive in the mailbox.

Customs released it on May 6 and processed by Canada Post on May 8. Canada Post took another 3 days to deliver to the mailbox.

Customs released it on March 19 and processed by Canada Post on March 20. Canada Post took 3 days to deliver to the mailbox.

The original Yanwen tracking number was replaced with a ePacket tracking number after departing from Yanwen's facility. Shipped on April 13 and picked up by Yanwen. It was given to an airline and left China between April 14-19 and arrived in Canada on May 22. Customs released it on May 23. Canada post processed it the same day and delivered it via Edmonton in 10 days. VR200941260YP

It took 3 days by air to arrive at Vancouver. It sat for 2 days. Customs took it for 1 day. Canada Post took 6 days to deliver it from Vancouver via Edmonton to the mailbox.

Arrived in Mississauga on March 23? Customs took it on March 31 and released it the same day. Canada Post took 18 days to deliver it to Calgary and 1 day to deliver it to the mailbox. VR190041879YP

It arrived at GMTC on March 27 and departed on April 9. It then arrived at an airport in Canada on April 18. It doesn't say which airport. It eventually arrived on July 23. Tracking number given was SY13650898674. A China Post label was stuck over the SunYou one and has a tracking number UJ153321013CN but is labeled 'untracked'
